Born and raised in Orange County, California, Tawny Dolley first got her start at the tender age of 11, when she performed in the Kids’ Chorus of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with The Really Useful Company at The Orange County Performing Arts Center. At 18, she then went on to become one of the youngest singers ever hired at The Disneyland Resort. She has since moved on to entertain audiences all around the globe, sharing the stage with musical artists Estelle, John Legend, Solange, Rachel Platten, and legendary band Vintage Trouble.

Tawny has traveled around the world as a guest entertainer for Princess Cruises. She's been spotted performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Talk, The Late Show with David Lettermen, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with various artists. Dolley portrayed the role of the iconic Etta James to much critical acclaim in the first national tour of A Night with Janis Joplin alongside Tony Award nominee Mary Bridget Davies, then again at the Alley Theatre in Houston, and most recently at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Other Regional theatrical credits include Deena in Dreamgirls, Andrea in Once on This Island, Brenda in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Angela in Parade, Mary in Both, Carmen in Fame, Alice in Big River, and Ms. Brown in the For the Record: Tarantino series.

Tawny currently stars in Vegas! The Show at The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV and continues to play Etta James in various national productions of “A Night With Janis Joplin”. She tours regularly with the gritty, 17 piece, Burlesque- style, New Orleans jazz band called Vaud and the Villains where she is known as Trouble St. Clair, and also sings with the L.A. based six part, pop-acapella group, Vybration.
